which have been published in the January issue of the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology 2007; 56: 125-143 by Braathen et al.

These practical, evidence-based recommendations highlight the beneficial role of PDT with long term efficacy, improved cosmetic outcomes and patient satisfaction.

With an increasing worldwide incidence of skin cancer these guidelines represent an important step in helping to effectively treat non-melanoma skin cancers.
